Hi, Ive run a catalyst upgrade finder and it doesn’t seem to include my shoulders or chest and I’m not sure why. I tried the same on raid bots and it said shoulders would be the best choice but AMR doesn’t even include them. I cant work out why.
I’ll take a look why some items are not getting flagged as eligible.
It’s always a bit unclear to me which items will or will not be eligible for the catalyst… for now I’m going to assume that in addition to dungeon/raid items, also delve and renown rewards that are veteran or higher.
I’m unsure if any veteran or higher item can be converted, or only if particular drop sources can be converted…

Wowhead said they have to be veteran or higher so i think that’s a fair assumption, though that doesn’t mean there couldn’t be some veteran items that are exempt. Its probably better to have incorrectly included ones that incorrectly excluded.
If you do happen to get a piece of veteran or higher gear from an unusual source and want to just check if you can convert it in-game, that would be really helpful! In the next update I might expand it to allow any veteran+ upgradeable item… I can’t think of any sources of veteran+ gear off the top of my head that would be excluded from the catalyst. So if you encounter an item that can’t be converted at veteran+, that would be useful info.
