Snapshot Id: 774b3c0be89b453b9697733df56ed311. Is there an easy way to know if the item in the upgrade list is already equipped? Can there be a simple indicator? I know I can scroll up to Best in Bag and down to Upgrade Finder to check each item. I’m just looking for ease of use.
The Crests search on the Upgrade Finder will upgrade each item, and then try a bunch of combinations of gear in your inventory with that upgraded item to try and get the best score. Whether it is equipped in your current Best in Bags solution won’t really matter… as it could potentially find a new solution with several items swapped.
Or maybe I’m misunderstanding the use case for such an indicator?
If the upgrade list is showing me an item “can be” the best item and it is not equipped, I need to take extra precautions with that item so I do not dispose of it. If it is equipped, it is safe until I get the needed crests because I am wearing it. If it is not equipped and I am cleaning out my bags or inventory it usually gets thrown away. Less often, I am carefully comparing the names of items on the upgrade list versus what is equipped - I see the recommendation is equipped so I trash an item with the same name but I have overlooked another feature making it more powerful (like socket or leech). Nothing more complicated - just me tossing better gear.
I see – have you played around with the Worst in Bags feature at all? If you play with the settings it does a pretty good job of being conservative with which items it flags as junk. It also brings up a window when you are at a vendor in-game to make it really easy to sell all of those items by clicking on the item in the junk list window, rather than having to hunt through your bags and make sure you don’t click on the wrong one.
