Upgrade finder - discrepancies between Great Vault & Add to my bag

I’m posting this for information more than a real issue so if you are busy you can discard it :p.

I’m aware this ranking is a bit different between the two but maybe it could use a bit of tweeking. I would have expected the results to be identical between or in the same order at least between ‘add to my bag’ and ‘Great Vault’.

I usally dont dig more into the comparaison but this time because the choice was not great i look deeper into the result. Specially looking at the BiS ranking to compare. The back is not a BIS and the shoulder is. So taking the back puts me one week behind in the long run.
So i’m inclind to value the shoulders more (specially because the BiS back is on the first boss Mythic very closely followed by the crafted back)

Maybe it could be interesting to do a different ranking one who would considere the BiS result and calculate the distance to the BiS ?

I think the difference comes from the “Upgrade Equipped Items” option. That option is not present on the “Add to my bag” search, and can result in slightly different rankings.

Thinking about it… we could probably add that as an option on “Add to my bag” without any issues, then you would see identical results.

edit: I guess we would also need to add the option for a user to indicate how far they want to upgrade their equipped items, and then make it clear that for this particular search, it does not apply to your chosen items to rank like in the other searches…

Ha yeah i see why indeed it would change the result now, i laready own the heroic track item so yeah the gap is then smaller. Make lot of sens now that i know it !
