Upgrade Finder - Great Vault: Socketed Catalyst Conversion

I have 2x Hero track belts offered within my vault that are both eligible for catalyst conversion, one with a gem socket and one without. The vault suggests that the one without the gem socket would be a stronger upgrade which is clearly incorrect. Reporting for awareness.

I think there is something going on with your particular settings for the custom secondary stat distribution… that setting can get very tricky to implement when ranking upgrades. I’ll try to figure out what is going on.

In the meantime, you can get around the issue one of two ways:

  1. Move the slider below the custom secondary stat pie one notch to the right of “Favor Ilvl”. Not sure why that fixes it but it does for now – that’s what I’m investigating.
  2. Change your main gearing strategy from Mostly TUF to Mostly DPS.

While I really like the custom secondary stat distribution feature… it can also cause some trouble the harder it has to fight against what the optimizer wants to do naturally. The second suggestion makes the underlying strategy a lot closer to what you are trying to do, so it has to fight less and gets a better result in most cases.
