Void Storage - being ignored?

Just updated to v60 (AMR gear sets now store, in game) but found that Void Storage is getting ignored, despite being opened for a good few seconds… had to remove items from Void Storage to get them ‘seen’ in the Export from Game data-string; and I think (can’t be 100%) that the add-on may be preventing items from being returned to Void Storage.

I should have made a note of that… the new version of the addon isn’t scanning void storage right now.

Not that many people keep gear in void storage that they actually use on their characters, so we decided it would be a good place to put stuff you’d rather hide from the optimizer.

It’s where I keep my spare Legendaries… some of which are not ‘full power’ - now that we get free Essences, some may be more easily upgraded.

Same here with the legendries piling up, void storage was the best place to store them all, once we remove them and put them back will the add-on continue to remember them or do I need to do that with every new piece of gear that impacts a slot that has a legendary in it?

I was able to use the upgrade finder to figure out which legendaries I needed to takeout of void storage, but I have some other purples there and don’t know if best in bags is really picking all of the right gear.

Still dunno this got fixed, yet… might not do, this side of their BfA update release.

We intended to not scan void storage since a lot of people don’t use it to store gear that they intend to use. And this way, people would be able to ‘hide’ gear from best in bags by putting it in void storage.

We’ll revisit this with BfA to see if a lot of people are using void storage for viable gear.

My druid has all legendaries for all 4 specs. Where do you think I store them? Void storage is an excellent place to keep orderly the ones I don’t use. But that doesn’t mean these are bad for use in the future and so they should be scanned…

Not scanning void storage without any warning is for me (and I think for many others) a potential dealbreaker for subscription to your service…
