What is with the lack of spell power? Prot Paladin

I’m losing faith in my trusty Mr.Robot. I have a bunch of gear to chose from but it’s recommending the stuff in the snapshot above. Almost no spell power whatsoever for a Protection Paladin?

Why is it even recommending the “King’s Defender” sword if I’m that low on Spell Power by using it? I do have Blade of the Archmage. Am I overestimating the importance of spell power for threat generation? With the gear I have I should be able to be Crit immune, Crush immune and have 11K Health with 300 Spell Power. That’s all I’m asking for. It doesn’t even suggest spell power gems when it tries to use King’s Defender.

Mr. Robot looks like he’s trying to treat me like a warrior tank though.

By locking a few items I can get 321 SP and almost be uncrushable.

Surely there’s a solution here to maximize all of the stats Defense, Avoidance, Stamina, Spellpower, Armor.

I can’t get your snapshot to load for me.

When I import your string and do an optimization - I’m seeing plenty of spell power when I tell the optimizer to go for crit immune. It’s when I tell it to try to get crush immune that it has to drop the spell power to get as close as possible with the gear available.

I understand now. Thank you. It’s sacrificing spell power to try and get uncrushable. I got a decent result when increasing the Consecration targets to 4+ though.
