When can we expect to add tier items?

I can take a look… I think the issue is that the 2-piece bonus just isn’t ranking that well. It’s one of those bonuses that is highly dependent on the fight duration to determine how much value it will give you.

Looking at a couple simulations of your character… it roughly makes Berserk cool down every 2 minutes instead of every 3 minutes. Thus, certain fight lengths you’ll get great value out of it, and others it won’t do a whole lot. We’ll probably have to resort to using some mathematical models instead of simulations data to get a better average ranking for this bonus. But even then – your mileage will vary significantly in-game depending on the fight.

In the simulation on raidbots it shows that purely single target 2pc gives me almost 600 damage per second.

AMR wants to replace the tier legs (dropping me from 2pc down to 1pc) with legs that have the same stats but one LESS crit. So I would be losing the 2pc bonus and 1 crit…

We’ll take a look… the problem is that the 2pc set bonus often ranks near zero, depending on the fight length used, so there must be a very slight margin of error around that. We should be able to adjust for that though, but it might take me a couple days of messing around with the simulation set that we run.

I understand why the optimiser is choosing it but, given that a lot of the fights are longer or shorter than the default script, I think it should be choosing it here.
Perhaps you can add a pop-up message explaining why it isn’t choosing it and that we might want the set bonus if the fight length is between X & Y minutes long?

In the next site update we’re going to adjust some of the set bonus rankings which should resolve most of these issues.

Yeah I’m not sure if there is any Tier right now that people wont want to build around…Might as well just crank up the priority of using 2 and 4 piece bonuses for everyone regardless of what the math says, Or at least add a checkbox for it to force that if we want like we can with Leggos and whatnot…Not sure how possible that would be to code lol

I did an update yesterday that increased the value of some of the set bonuses that simulate lower. We can tweak it some more if people are still running into issues.

Looks better for feral. BIS for feral shows even the lowest ilvl tier being better than 278 non-tier if it will break 4pc

I’m running into this issue. It’s keep unequipping my 4pc as Guardian and it’s a MAJOR difference.

Seeing similar for Vengeance specs where it’s opting for any piece with vers over any tier bonus – my assumption is that the veng bonus may not be a complete game changer, but I’d expect it to matter at least a little.

please just do a checkbox for using 2 or 4 set bonus instead of tweaking arround for weeks.

You can always lock in set items to override the optimizer’s behavior.

We did an update yesterday that should rank thinks closer to how people prefer. New tiers of content are always a moving target – simulations alone are never enough to arrive at an optimization that works well for a broad audience of players.
