Just curious why it’s picking Shredding Fang over Deep Forest Hacker. Deep Forrest Hacker is better in ever way.
A quick look at what you have available leads me to believe that the lesser items are heavier on Crit.; this is based on the Gemming choices that the Optimiser would recommend (Crit. over Mastery).
You have the option to manually exclude them within BiB, as a reminder - this new into an Expansion, iL is still ‘king’.
They are both Haste/Mastery. The Hacker just has more. Really, not the end of the world, was just curious.
My guess is that the faster off hand gives you more fatal flourish and instant poison procs, offsetting the minor gain in stats on the other weapon.
A few abilities use “composite” weapon damage, so the dps of the off hand weapon does matter, but it’s always a balancing act.
I was referring to Thief’s Ring (also a downgrade; 207 vs 220), too. Manual exclusion is always an option.
Yeah, item level downgrades on rings are pretty common if they have a disfavored secondary
