Worst in Bags junking both duplicates?

I was trying to clean the absolut mess of my bags and bank, and was doublechecking to not delete any benthic upgradable gear that I could potentially upgrade in the future. Found that it was marking my belt as duplicate (correct) but marking both for junking/scrapping?

I also tried to get a snapshot, but seems it doesn’t work for WiB atm.

You can just get the snapshot for Best in Bags and it will have most of your information for Worst in Bags too. You might need to tell me which WiB preferences you have set though.

According to that inventory string, you have 3 of those belt (Vim’s Scalecrusher Girdle), so it is marking 2 of them as duplicates.

Oh. I used the junk window to grab all my stuff from the bank, but then I must’ve potentially exported again, with both belt in the bags, and mr robot cache thinks I have one on the bank?

In theory the AMR addon should keep track of every time you move an item to/from the bank.

Your bank data can only be read when the bank is open on your screen, so we automatically scan it every time you open it. We re-scan your entire inventory and equipped gear just before exporting (every time the export tab is shown in the AMR addon). We also track inventory events when your bank is open if you e.g. move something from a container in your bank to a container in your inventory.

There is a little bit of a lag sometimes… if you were to open your bank and close it quickly, or grab something from your bank and immediately close it (e.g. less than a second later) it could get out of sync. In those rare cases, opening your bank again and leaving it open for a second or two, then closing and opening the AMR addon export tab again should re-scan everything.

Well hard to tell exactly how I ended up in that situation. Does AMR track inventory events when at a bank, even if the AMR-window is not open?

Yes it does – we scan the bank immediately after it opens, and then monitor updates to the contents of any of your bank bags while it is open.

If you find that the website is seeing different gear than you actually have, the following steps will update all cached inventory data:

Close the AMR addon window.
Go to your bank and open it, leave it open for a few seconds seconds, then you can close it.
Activate each of your specs once in-game.
Open the AMR addon window and export again.

That will refresh all item data stored in the addon with the latest state of your character.

I see! Somehow must have ended up with a bad state! I think I was unsure if I had a third in the bank and so i looked in the full list in the WiB section. But without the snapshot or even a screenshot, I guess that’s hard to look at.

Thanks a lot for a thorough explanation of how AMR works and what to try when I notice such issues.
