I’ve noticed that Worst in Bags doesn’t seem to be handling duplicates very well these days. I have 7 Underbrush Renders at various item levels from 259 (heroic) to 224 (adventure). Worst in Bags doesn’t mark any of them as junk. At the very least, I would expect the 224 version to be marked as junk because I’m using 285 weapons and I have it set up to mark anything 60 item levels below what I have equipped.
It’s not a huge deal because I have the bag space in my bank - at least for now. But it sure would be nice to get Worst in Bags to mark a lot of this stuff as junk. Along with my 6 Forest Hunter Hoops and Evertwisting Swiftvines.
Thanks,
Bill (aka Korra)
I’ll take a look – yeah it should be picking up some of those duplicates.
The item level filter would not pick them up because once you upgrade them, they are less than 60 item levels below your max ilvl one-handed weapon (285).
But the duplicate filter should pick up at least two of the adventurer and two of the champion versions of that weapon, for example. And really it could prune it down to the one heroic version and one champion version I think… have to double-check the logic. It is very conservative by design. For dual-wield it will usually keep up to two versions of the same weapon.
So I looked into this some more… yeah it’s just being really conservative with weapons and rings right now. The thinking is that you could potentially want multiple copies of the same item with different enchants (and you can equip two of the same item in each slot).
I’ll see if we can make it a little more aggressive about pruning those slots. In the meantime you could try a higher item level threshold – for example it is extremely rare for an item 40 ilvls below what you have equipped to be worth using, and that would prune 76 items from your inventory (all adventurer track items). You always want to review the list it generates, but I would consider that to be a very safe threshold.
