How’s work going with the ring sims?

We are working on it and will release something in the next day or two to handle them.
If a few people wanted to post snapshots or import strings with the ring equipped and various gems in it, we could use those to do some testing.

I’m trying to make sure that we get the scaling correct on these gem effects… the spell data is a bit wacky.
For your socketed gems on the ilvl642 ring, could you tell me what tooltip values are being reported for them in-game? Just the numeric value, like the amount of damage or amount of stats gained.
edit: it is possible for a damage effect that I’ll also need to know how much versatility you have so that I can reverse it out.
We just posted an update that should have the ring and all of the gems loading – you’ll need to re-import your character from the addon for them to show up.
We still need to test the rankings of some of the gems a little more, but I wanted to at least get them loading for people tonight. In particular the one that says “Mastery increases the other gems”… I have no idea how that one works, couldn’t find any spell data or info on the web for that.

Yeah that’s why I wanted to double-check some of my rankings… it’s really not that great a ring as far as I can tell, even with all of the gems available. I guess it depends a little on how strong the effect of that Mastery ring is though.
I guess the rest of the isle stuff is also on the way? Just asking 
The items from quartermaster Argarom seems like an easy and cheap/fast way to equip a fresh 80 alt.

If you obtain the items, they should show up now. We probably aren’t going to do any specific upgrade finder searches for them – it’s just catch-up gear at ilvl584 I believe, so go for it if you have a new character who needs some ilvl upgrades.

Holy Paladin. It’s recommending the ring when I have 13 others well over it’s listed percentage.
The ring’s ranking in the list is not that useful right now… it doesn’t have any gems in it. I still need to update that.
When you run Best in Slot or Best in Bags it will fill the ring with gems to get a proper ranking.
It’s probably not picking it because it doesn’t score very well. With the currently available gems, Cyrce’s Circlet is particularly bad for AoE DPS scenarios, e.g. Mythic+.

For me it just seems that BiB cant insert gems on its own. i need to manually insert gems to sim the gems themselves
