AMR is showing my Heirlooms at a lvl beyond their capacity so it’s passing on other gear that is better. Just a heads up for you.
If you post a snapshot I can use it as a test case to look at them. I would also need to know what version of the game you are playing.
This is my concern here as well, MrRobot says my heirloom, the Reforged Truesilver Champion, which is iLvL 127 is 262 and constantly prefers it to higher ilvl weapons including especially as a Frost DK two handed weapons when preferred weapons are dual axes, maces and swords. Is there a Blizz trick where ilvls for heirlooms are doubled without revealing it in the weapons stats. My heirloom sword is level 3 of 6, maybe it should be maxed out although that is silly when the weapons available from normal play out stat them currently. So, ignore AskMr.Robot and equip as we like or keep the heirloom which was only ever to help boost progress through the game and get to later expansions sooner.
I would like to feel that I can rely on Mr.Robot to give me the best equipment build and this has me guessing. Thank you.
If you post a snapshot we can take a look – heirlooms can be a bit of a pain to match up with the in-game ilvl due to the weird ways they specify the scaling.
Instructions on how to make a snapshot are at the top of this post:
Thank you for the information. It seems like Blizz was overseeing the web and now I have an all new recommended setup that has replaced the heirlooms. A miracle hehe. I am pleased with this and sorry to have wasted your time but I have taken note of your advice with the “help” link. I was searching the forum and went from there. This is fine, thank you!
No problem!
Also note that especially with heirlooms, sometimes our in-game addon will show the incorrect item level, but the website will show the correct item level. It can be annoyingly difficult to get an addon to display the correct variant of heirlooms.
