Why do the hit and/or expertise on the AMR char sheet not match what I’m seeing in-game? We get this question a lot. 99% of the time our calculations are correct – the differences are because the in-game character sheet is not very good or useful. What causes differences? Blizzard is extremely inconsistent about which buffs and talents they include in the character sheet total. On the other hand, AMR is extremely consistent about it. It’s highly likely that we are already handling the hit and expertise caps how you expect, but we display information in a more useful and consistent way than the in-game character sheet.

If you still think it’s not getting the proper amount of hit on one of your characters, post a snapshot and we can take a closer look. Instructions on how to do that in this post:

New "Help" Link Support Feature

Next to the big section titles of the optimizer features (“Best in Bags”, “Upgrade Finder”, etc.) there is a “help” link in green. Short Version: you will get much faster support if you press the “help” link next to whatever feature you need help with, then click Create Support Post, then copy the generated 32-character snapshot ID into your post with a description of your issue.
